The Event
TEDxPraça Gil Eanes is the first TEDx event in Lagos, Portugal and we’re thrilled to bring you the second edition.
It brings together speakers from different backgrounds to share ideas through short talks and performances.
The programme spans science, culture, technology, education, wellbeing, the arts, and everyday life, offering a broad mix of perspectives rather than a single theme or industry focus.
The event is held in English and Portuguese, with live translation available.

TEDxPraça Gil Eanes takes place in Lagos, a town with a long history of exploration and exchange.
The event is named after Gil Eanes, the 15th-century Portuguese navigator who sailed beyond Cape Bojador, challenging the limits of what was believed possible at the time. That spirit of curiosity and boundary-pushing is central to the event.
