Joaquim Pedro Ferreira

I am a teacher, director and actor that specialized in Awareness through Motion and Natural Education. For more than 20 years I am going through a self reformation process and believes that education has to make a fundamental shift towards natural learning and compassion in order to create a new generation of human beings that are able to become whole.
I worked in different fields as an actor, educator, trainer and teacher. I observed people around me and I discovered that it wasn’t that people lacked the ability to understand complex concepts or learn quickly, but that they lacked the ability to be well inside their own skin, to be content, to have joy.
I discovered that we created and normalized an education system that from birth, destroys our natural way of learning, of having joy and being connected.
Let me start again. I am a 54 years old person who was brutalized by the education system that our society offers as normal. I think that I am lucky to come through it as a functional human being.
Let me start again. I am a father of a 4 years old child and I want to give him a healthy and nurturing education. That’s why my approach of Natural Learning was created.
