Kayla Patullo-Liao
Marketing & Operations Manager
Kayla Patullo-Liao is a dance-scientist and advocate for arts in health, who is passionate about technology, business, and community/event planning. With over 15 years of professional dance experience, Kayla has taught various dance styles, performed, competed, and led dance programs in both educational and community settings. Kayla also held executive and consulting roles for over a decade across Marketing, Operations and People/Culture at various high growth SMBs within disruptive industries such as FinTech and Blockchain.
Kayla holds an honours dance and dance-science degree from York University - School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design. She also studied at Canada's National Ballet School, completing a global teacher training program in partnership with Baycrest Health Sciences Hospital, focused on teaching dance to older adults including in long-term care hospital settings and people living with Dementia. She has completed a Dance for PD® introductory teacher training course designed for people living with Parkinson’s.
In 2023, Kayla took her business and dance knowledge and founded Anraga Health. A global community organization that offers creative movement programming designed for older adults, including those living with Dementia.
In her spare time, Kayla works with people living with PD as a Dance Instructor and Community Engagement Coordinator at Dancing with Parkinson’s Canada. She also runs digital literacy workshops for older adults to share her love for technology and create greater accessibility for this generation.
